Proper Care of
Your New Tattoo
It takes 2 people to ensure
a good tattoo. One doing the work, and one taking care of it. Your
Tattoo was applied with the most up to date sterile procedure and
finest colors available. The quality of your new Tattoo, from this
point on, is entirely dependent on proper care during the healing
process.
"YOU MUST
TAKE CARE OF YOUR NEW TATTOO"
- 1. Leave the bandage on for
24 hours.
-
- 2. After removing bandage,
wash Tattoo with mild soap & water, using a wash cloth.
-
- 3. Apply a very small amount
of neosporin or A & D ointment, 3 or 4 times a day for the
first week. After the first week, you may use hand lotion to
ease the dryness, for the remaining of the week. Average healing
time is about 2 weeks.
-
- 4. Do not pick, rub, tear
or soak Tattoo while it is healing.
-
- 5. Keep out of the sun &
water while it is healing.
-
- 6. Cover Tattoo with saran
wrap, while taking a shower. This is to ensure it doesn't get
wet. Getting a Tattoo wet after the first day will usually take
the color out of it . SO KEEP IT DRY.
PLEASE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
FOR A FAST AND TROUBLE FREE TATTOO.
*Neosporin*, is great
to use as long as you are not allergic to it.
